Sugar Busters Diet
The Sugar Busters Diet was originally developed in the '90s. This diet works in a very similar way to the popular 'Zone Diet'. The Sugar Busters Diet is not a low carb nor a high protein style diet. The Sugar Busters Diet recommends that daily calorie intake is split into a 40/30/30 ratio. However this ratio differs slightly from the Zone Diet as the Sugar Busters Diet plan recommends 40% fats, 30% proteins and 30% carbohydrate intake each day. Advantages of being on the Sugar Busters Diet include: • Diet Eliminates Intake of Sugar • Easy to do for the average user (no calorie counting, measuring or weighing) • The Diet cuts out many Sugary Foods that are clearly not helpful for weight loss. (and for good dental care reasons) Disadvantages of the Sugar Busters
Eggs can boost health and tackle obesity

Nutritionists say eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods and are recommending one a day for the maximum benefit. The study, released today and to be published in June in the journal Nutrition and Food Science, analysed 71 research papers and reference documents that examined the nutritional composition of eggs and their role in diet. They discovered that, despite being low in calories, eggs are a rich source of protein and are packed with nutrients thought essential to good health, particularly vitamin D, vitamin B12, selenium and choline. The report confirms that among protein foods, eggs contain the richest mix of essential amino acids - crucial for children, adolescents and young adults since a balance of them is required for proper growth and repair.

This year Alley, 59, launched Organic Liaison, the country's first USDA-approved organic weight-loss program that specifically targets those two problem areas. Two years in the making, Alley -- who has already lost 20 lbs. since starting the program in January -- said she wanted to create a weight-loss system that doesn't include "meals that I can keep in my closet," she said on the Organic Liaison site. "Also one that would actually improve mine and my kids health along with shrinking my awesomely ample bottom."
According to a company press release, Organic Liaison offers clients all-natural supplements that curb cravings and a sleep aide with vitamins and an essential amino acid that helps reduce the urge to snack on carbohydrates and also alleviates muscle pains. You on a Diet by Dr. Michael F. Roizen and Dr. Mehmet C. Oz

The well-known doctors start off with a two-week plan that they say will take up to 2 inches off your waist. That waist measurement is what they say people should be focusing on. That's because weight stored around the waist is the biggest predictor of obesity-related health problems. (The ideal waist measurement, they say, is 32 1/2 inches or less for women, and 35 inches or less for men.) What secret dieting weapons do they share? One is the permission to stop beating yourself up when you slip something they say is an inevitable part of the process. The key is to get back up and do a "You-turn," as they call it, rather than slide back into a pattern of unhealthy eating.
They suggest changing your environment instead of trying to fight hardwired behavior. For example, choose a fish restaurant rather than a burger place when eating out. Keep fruit in your pantry instead of chips. When the urge to overeat strikes, head out the door for a short walk and contemplate what's driving the cravings. And consider your friends' habits, which can influence your own. Meet friends for breakfast at a juice bar rather than the pancake house. Schedule a walk instead of coffee and dessert.

While many adults consider a chubby baby healthy, too many plump infants grow up to be obese teens. New research suggests that the "tipping point" in obesity often occurs before two years of age, and sometimes as early as three months, when the child is learning how much and what to eat. This study comes in the midst of alarming rates of childhood obesity, which now ranks as one of the most prominent health concerns in the United States today. While some hospitals have begun offering healthy eating and weight loss program for children, what hasn't been as clear is how early to intervene.

Diet include: • This diet is not always recommended for Vegetarians (Largely based on the protein intake requirements.) • Weight loss may be attributed to a general reduction in calories and not necessarily the 40/30/30 ratio. • There can be a level of confusion when dieter needs to find out about 'Hidden Sugars' in some foods. • The diet may (in certain cases) remove valuable minerals and nutrients. (This is because the diet limits some fruit and vegetables, which are essentially healthy) The diet does also encourage the consumption of a large quantity of proteins found in foods such as fish, nuts, and eggs. As these are three of the most commonly found allergy-related foods, it is important prior to be aware of any allergies you may have before commencing on this eating plan.
